• How much does it cost?
Most projects can be produced using our exclusive Design Your Own page. Cost is only $5.88 per foot, and we offer discounts on larger orders.
For more complex layouts use our Estimate Form instead; cost is typically under $7 per foot, special services or unusual layouts may entail additional charges. We will give you an exact price quote via e-mail, fax, or postal mail before you order.

In many cases you'll find a complete SayWhat? costs no more than a pre-cut alphabet, plus it's far easier and less time consuming to use; you have a tremendous choice of fonts, an endless variety of sizes, and you can achieve truly professional looking results. • Can SayWhat? be re-used?
SayWhat? is designed for one time use- this is the only way possible to make a truly bridgeless stencil, and has numerous other advantages- click here for more information. However, if you do want to repeat the same word or phrase, additional copies of the same design are available at a substantial discount of 50% off or more, depending on quantity.

We do have the ability to make reusable stencils- some graphic designs would work fine this way. Please inquire, we would glad to compare the options with you.

• But what if I make a mistake?
Literally 99%+ of our customers get excellent results the first time. We send you complete instructions and at least one sample to practice with. We want you to succeed with your project.
Our NO FAULT GUARANTEE: If your project doesn't turn out as you expect, for any reason, we'll re-cut the problem portion (or the whole design if necessary) at NO CHARGE.... Really, no charge, including standard U.S. shipping*

• Can you do decorative designs, logos, etc.?
YES! We have a huge variety of designs, logos, allover patterns, borders, kid's motifs, just about any shape that can be painted. See our graphic design pages for 'off the shelf' examples, or let us know what you want to do and we'll do our best to accomodate you, even custom design it.

• How will I know what it looks like?

If you Design Your Own you will see how your text will look in your chosen font, and be given accurate size information. The font previewer will give you a good idea, but we will normally improve the layout at no additional charge, Shown are just a few of the things we routinely adjust

If you use our Estimate Form we can send you a scaled proof of your project. You will be able to make corrections and changes as needed before we do the final porduction.

• How big or small can you make SayWhat?
We can go up to 28 " tall in one piece, and can go much larger splitting up the project into sections. We've created up to 96" letters for buildings. There's no real limit to length. We've gone over 300 feet for some clients. We cut in managable portions you piece together as needed.
We can also cut letters well under 1", but they may need some special handling; we'll let you know if it's a problem.

• What if I want a font style you don't show?
Talk to us - we have hundreds available, and we can use most fonts found on home PC's. We can even do musical notes, fancy first letters, Greek, Hebrew, Cyrillic, and most special foreign characters, such as á, MN, ü, etc. We have an extensive library available of shapes such as stars, moon, stylized tools, road signage, and international symbols, as well as Japanese script. We can also set up the lettering in curves, circles, arches etc, in fact about any shape you can imagine words can take. Ask for details; additional charges may apply.

• Can it be used on any surface?
The adhesive vinyl has a slight tack that will adhere to almost any paintable surface, including walls, fabric, wood, glass, plastic etc. . As a general rule, if masking tape will stick and lift off without damaging the surface, you should get good results.
The material is also extremely flexible- you can wrap it around inside or outside corners, rounded glass, auto bodies, cloth, even rough wood. We always include a sample for testing and practice. If you have any doubt about your application feel free to write us first, , we'll be glad to send a free sample.

• How long does it take to process my order?
From the time we get your final OK, allow 2-3 business days for cutting, plus shipping time. In most cases you'll have your order in hand in 7 days for less. Express cutting service and shipping is also available, click here for information.

• Can you cut just an alphabet?
Yes; however since these are not reusable you would not be able to piece together your own words if a letter is used multiple times. But in many cases you'll find a complete SayWhat? costs no more than a pre-cut alphabet, plus it's far easier and less time consuming to use; you have a tremendous choice of fonts, an endless variety of sizes, and you can achieve truly professional looking results.
